These are my customizations to Chimera, in patch form.
The license is that of Chimera.
The (patchname)_bundle.tgz file generally has in it:
- (patchname).txt
- (patchname).patch
- (patchname).(binary files).tgz
In any case, the .txt file should explain them.
- viewsourceexternal
- View source in an external application; internal view-source
respects cmd-click preference.
- savestate
- auto/manual save/load window state.
- bookmarkwindowstyle
- Bookmarks, Home, and Search respect the same
window choice (new window, new tab, reuse current)
as loading a URL requested by another application.
- focuswindow
- Shift-Cmd-L returns keyboard focus to the window from URL bar.
- confirmonquit
- Ask for confirmation from user before quitting.
- windowonrestore
- Suppress opening a new window on restore.
- customprefpane
- The Preference Pane that can turn all these features on and off.
- custom_mega
- The v1.4 Mega patch, used to build Chimera Custom
Made by applying all these patches:
viewsourceexternal, savestate, bookmarkwindowstyle, focuswindow,
confirmonquit, windowonrestore,
customprefpane.
This was created against a 1/6/2003 checkout.
Stand-alone or experimental patches:
- proxytoggle
- Adds a toggle to ignore proxy settings to the View menu
and the Toolbar
